Shopping Help

We are now introducing a shopping system to the site so you will see "Buy Me Now" popping up all over the place. If you click on the link that item will be added to your virtual shopping basket. You can continue to look at the site with no obligation to buy the items in the basket. To remove an item from your basket just change the quantity to 0 (zero) and click the button to recalculate. If you have any problems, or complete an order with a mistake phone +44 (0)1756 797048 or email TheStampManUK@aol.com and we will sort it out for you.

For those of you who would like to choose items online but do not feel safe putting credit card details on the internet, this will suit you too. There is a comment box, where you can leave a message saying that you will be ringing with card details later. Again, we can be getting your order prepared whilst waiting for your call.

You will be asked if you would like your details saved for another time, this means your name, address, telephone number, email address. If you select this option, the system recognises you next time you shop with us online, and you will not have to keep typing in the above details each time.

As we have control of the system, we can delete your credit card details when we have obtained them, so your card details are not hanging around on the internet.

Your card details are actually logged into a secure area, but for extra security, they will be deleted and will not be stored on the internet long term. Therefore, you will have to fill in the card details each time you shop, we are sure you will not mind this inconvenience for the sake of added security. Our aim is to delete them as soon as possible.

This system is very flexible to suit your shopping needs and we believe it has been worth the wait.

Scale

All stamps are scanned at 75dpi and should appear about life size. For a comparison here is a scan of a ruler done at the same resolution.

Postage/Shipping

Please note that postage will be added to your order at full cost of posting. Please mention in the request box when you order if your parcel should be sent first class, otherwise we will assume that we should charge and send it second class. VAT free purchases (17.5%) are available for customers outside of the EEC. Presents for friends and family. We are very happy to send a gift for you, just fill in the payment details, with your home/cardholder's address and the delivery address in the section on the Order Form. No postage charged for back orders. If your postage is incorrectly charged by the system and you paid by credit card then this will be automatically adjusted.

Switch/Delta/Access/Visa/Solo/American Express accepted. All goods remain the property of The Stamp Man until paid for in full. All prices include VAT. Prices are subject to change without notice. If payment is different we will advise you.

If You Don't Want To Shop Over the Internet....

You can print off an order form as a Microsoft Word document. Download the file (right click on the link and choose "save as" in Internet Explorer), print it off, fill it in and post or fax it to us.

If you prefer you can email your order to us and phone separately on +44 (0)1756 797048 with your card details.

If you would like to shop using the facility provided on the site but you are worried about security then you can phone up with your card details. To do this just select "cheque" as the method of payment and then phone with your card detail and order reference number.
